Delhi Agra Jaipur Orchha itinerary
This route visits Jaipur before Agra so the Orchha extension continues south after the Taj. It returns to Delhi with a dedicated travel day. More nights are preferable if long road days are uncomfortable.

Orchha extension from Agra

Is Orchha already part of the Golden Triangle?
No. It is an additional destination in Madhya Pradesh and needs its own transfer time and nights.
Why are nine days suggested?
They allow eight hotel nights: Delhi three across the trip, Jaipur two, Agra one and Orchha two. Add nights for a slower pace.
Can we return by train from Jhansi?
Possibly. Confirm the actual station, service, seat status and transfer to Jhansi before replacing the road day.
Can we visit the Taj Mahal on Friday?
Normal tourist visiting is closed on Fridays. Reorder the Agra chapter around the official operating day.
Is Orchha suitable for limited walking?
Selected ground-level and exterior views may work. Upper palace levels and some chhatris involve stairs; request a site-specific access check.
