Give the palace area a patient visit, then choose a stepwell or an old-town walk based on access and group mobility. Taragarh sits on higher ground, so do not assume every guest will want the same walking itinerary. Ask locally which parts of individual heritage sites are open.
What to confirm before booking
Agree on the Urbania parking and return meeting point before entering the older streets. Specify whether an onward Kota or Ranthambore transfer is part of the same booking.

Kota offers a Hadoti continuation; Ranthambore needs its own safari reservation and overnight planning.
